Mummy’s Wish is an Australian registered charity servicing Queensland and Sydney Metro, hoping to expand to all other states and territories by 2018.
Their mission is to support Australian families with children, through the provision of practical, immediate and non-means tested support while mum is receiving cancer treatment.
Their vision is to provide practical pathways for those Australian families who find themselves navigating through their journey with cancer.
Mummy’s Wish know too well the shock and fear associated with finding you have cancer, while still having a young family to care for. Every day around 13 families have their lives turned upside down, as they find out that Mummy has cancer.
Since 2007, Mummy’s Wish has touched the lives of over 2,000 families and that number will increase to 4,000 by the end of 2015.
Their work allows Mum’s to undergo treatment while still being able to cope with their illness and emotional and physical needs of a young family. Connecting with the Mums on diagnosis and offering support during their full treatment journey is just the beginning.
Anthony and James Clark understand the impact that cancer can have on a young family and urge you to get behind this organisation to assist in making the journey of families suffering cancer diagnosis easier to bear.
